MaxBack VSS Writer Update 1.4 released

Hello,

today we have released the MaxBack VSS Writer 1.4.

Changes:

• Configuration command to configure MaxDB Installation
  A new configuration command setdbinst is now available in the configuration tool. With this command you can select the database installation that should be used for the MaxDb client. This is useful if the database installation name is not the same as the database name.
  
  
• Automatic start and stop of VSS Writers for updates
  The installation will now automatically stop and start existing instances during updates. Therefore you no longer have to stop running writers manually to avoid a system restart.
  
  
• Internal Quality improvements
  Various changes and updates of dependencies to latest versions.

New Versioning scheme

Starting with version 1.4 we have added a internal "revision" version to the VSS Writer version.So for example the current release version has the full version number 1.4.1.7 (1.4, Patch 1, Revision 7).
With this revision number we can now release public versions of pre-releases, for example a beta version for a hotfix.
