What has changed in VSS Writer 2.2?

Minor changes

HTTPS Download of .NET Framework
The Setup Tools now use HTTPS to download .NET Framework. This improves compatibility with systems that have Internet Explorer Enhanced Security enabled.
Installation package available without .NET Framework download
Occasionally problems may occur on Systems not connected to the Internet and without installed .NET Framework 4.7.1. For these systems there is now an offline package available for installation which does not require internet access anymore.
Support of Hyper-V Production Snapshots
Hyper-V Production Snapshots are now supported. Production snapshots are treated as backup copies.
Third-party updates
Update Logging Framework to the latest version
Delivery of the latest VC Runtime
Renaming to dbosoft
We have renamed ourselves from Contiva to dbosoft - therefore all application paths have changed to the new company name. Please note that during the upgrade all VSS Writers will be migrated to the new paths automatically.

History verification only for snapshot backups
Verification of the MaxDB history is now only performed for snapshot backups.
